Bay Creator.
Describe the racking, flow lanes, and shelving in your building, level by level, so the engine fits your locations into the bays you actually have.
Your racking, described once.
Bay Creator is the part of the client portal where your team defines each bay type in the building. Every bay is built level by level and previewed as you type. It is saved to a library your company shares, and the Storage Strategy Engine uses that library in place of generic rack sizes.
- Levels set by clear height, beam, and empty space
- Live front elevation, plan, and aisle previews
- Exports the engine's bay and shelf tables
- Private to your company in the client portal
Editing a reserve rack bay.
A 30-foot selective rack with four levels. The elevation redraws as each level changes, and the tool flags the 84 inches still unused above the top level.

01
Define the bay
Name it, set the category (pickface or reserve) and type (bin, carton flow, pallet, or reserve rack), then give its width, height, and depth.
-
02
Stack the levels
Each level gets a clear height, the beam above it, and any empty space. The tool says whether the levels fit the bay, fill it exactly, or run over.
-
03
Lay out the aisle
Set the pick and replenishment aisles, flue space, and bays per aisle, then preview any number of bays with row length and footprint.
-
04
Feed the engine
The library downloads as the engine's bay and shelf tables, and engine runs in the portal use the bays you select.
Aisle layout and bay library.
Fifty-six of those bays laid out across aisles the way the engine's CAD export builds them, above the library of bay types the team has saved.
Screenshots show the client portal with sample bays. Each client company's bay library is visible only to its own team.
